Marlene Mawhinney Teacher Bio(s):
Marlene Mawhinney has been teaching yoga since 1969. She holds an Iyengar Intermediate Senior Level III Certificate. Marlene has been travelling regularly since 1985 to Pune, India to study with her teacher, BKS Iyengar. At Yoga Centre Toronto, where Marlene is President and Senior Teacher, she works with many people with health challenges. Marlene has developed and oversees yoga programs for MS, back care, heart disease, fertility and other special needs. She has been training teachers in Canada for many years. Marlene's focus is on yoga for health and well-being - in both body and spirit.
